There's a "right" breath for you...it depends on your activity & your symptoms. This is unique to YOU. Exhalation ideally activates your deep abs & pelvic floor (your belly should feel like its a gentle drawing in, NOT pushing out) With Squats: ➡️If you have leakage or prolapse, you want your support ON before you hit the bottom of your squat. So you exhale at the TOP before your come down & DURING the bottom & back up (yup, that's a lotta air) ➡️Exhaling after the bottom is like turning the support on, after you already did the hard work, sometimes this adds to the pressure & makes it worse. Disse øvelsene har vært min rutine siden etter fødsel ➰ Det er så viktig å gjenskape kontakt med kjernemuskulaturen igjen når man har født 😌 Hvor raskt man kan gå i gang med øvelsene kommer an på ulike faktorer som blant annet om du fødte med keisersnitt eller vaginalt, og selvsagt må man ta hensyn til hvordan kroppen føles i etterkant 🥰 Selv har jeg født første med keisersnitt og andre vaginalt + at jeg måtte igjennom et ekstra keisersnitt-inngrep et døgn etter vaginal fødsel som følge av uterusruptur i livmora 😮‍💨 Likevel føles kroppen fin nok til at jeg kunne starte på nivå 1 av øvelsene kun få uker etter inngrepet! Nå 12 uker etter fødsel fortsetter jeg med de samme øvelsene, men utfordrer også kjernen gjennom andre type øvelser og bevegelser innenfor styrketrening 🏋🏼‍♀️ Har/hadde du fokus på å bygge en sterk kjerne igjen i etterkant av fødsel? 😉💪🏼 #postpartumworkout

So far my most annoying postpartum symptom in week 3 is that my neck hurts from looking down at baby while nursing! 🤱⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I also believe that the sweet sweet relaxin has left my body. 😢⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Feels good to get some gentle stretching in and upper back movement with this workout:⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ 1️⃣ Open Book Stretch 3x5/side⁠⁠ 2️⃣ Gentle Cat Cow 3x5/position⁠⁠ 3️⃣ Supine Blackburns 2x8⁠⁠ 4️⃣ 90/90 Breathing⁠⁠ 5️⃣ Supine Breathing + Light Band Pull-Apart⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I’m finally synching some breathing with movement and incorporating the connection breath and working up to 20 minute walks when I feel up to it.
