On today’s table: Ciabatta Bread 🥖 430g bread flour 6g instant yeast 4g salt 360ml water In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt. Pour in the water and mix until a dough forms. Using a dough hook on a stand mixer, knead for 8 minutes. The dough will be sticky, this is normal. Place the dough into a bowl and cover with foil. Leave to rise in the fridge for around 12 hours, or until doubled in size. Lightly dust a large baking sheet and your work surface with flour. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface. Shape into two long loaves and place on the baking sheet. Leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour. (A slightly heated but turned-off oven works well.) Preheat the oven to 250°C. Score each loaf with three slashes. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown. For an even crispier crust, place a tray of boiling water at the bottom of the oven while baking. Leave to cool for at least 20 minutes before serving. #easy #ciabatta #bread

Soft, airy inside🤍 This one never fails — and it’s easier than you think. 🥖 Homemade Ciabatta Bread Ingredients: 3 cups (437 g) all-purpose or bread flour 1 ¼ tsp instant yeast 1 ¾ tsp salt 3 ½ tbsp olive oil (47 ml) 1 ⅔ cups of lukewarm water (400 ml) Instructions: In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Add olive oil and lukewarm water. Mix until a very sticky dough forms. Cover and let rest in a warm place for 20 minutes. Do a stretch-and-fold: With wet hands, lift one side of the dough, stretch it upward, and fold it over. Turn the bowl and repeat on all sides. Cover and rest for 20 minutes. Repeat this stretch-and-fold process 2 more times (3 total rounds). Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 to 1 ½ hours until puffy and bubbly. Transfer dough onto a well-floured surface. Gently shape into a long rectangle and divide into 2 pieces. Carefully shape into ciabatta loaves without pressing out the air. Place on parchment paper, dust with flour, and cover. Let rise for 30–40 minutes. Bake at 220°C / 425°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before slicing and enjoy 🤍🥖 #Ciabatta #ArtisanBread #HomeBaking #BreadMaking #UKFoodCreator

Homemade Ciabatta! 🥖🤤 Crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside: bakery smell at home. Soooooo satisfying! Perfect for sandwiches, kids lunches, dipping in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or enjoyed warm straight from the oven ☺️ 🤍 They freeze well too! What's your preferred way to enjoy it? Save this one for later! ☑️ Ingredients: 325 ml warm water 0,5 teaspoon instant yeast 3 tablespoons olive oil 3-3.5 cups bread flour (all purpose flour is ok too 1,5 teaspoon salt Note: - Bread flour: Chewier texture, better structure, larger air holes (more classic ciabatta). - All-purpose flour: Softer crumb, less chew, slightly flatter bread. - Combine the warm water, yeast, olive oil and mix. Add it to the rest of the ingredients. The dough should be quite sticky. - Rest for 30 minutes in a warm place. - To avoid sticking, wet your hands in water and bring the dough together stretching and folding the dough. It's the most satisfying process! - Repeat the "stretch & fold" and let it rest for another 30-minutes (mine was resting for around 1h) - Make sure you flour the surfaces well, then cut the dough into rectangle shapes. - Let rest for the last few minutes until the oven is preheating at 420F (215c), then bake around 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy! Enjoy!!! 🙏
