ELIn my opinion, every amputee needs an @ethnocare_canada overlay sleeve. It is the best innovation since prosthetic legs.
I don’t have to carry around socks, guess my ply or find a bathroom to adjust my leg.
I feel safe adjusting it while I drive instead of taking off my prosthetic leg.
I don’t have to remove my prosthesis at a restaurant anymore.

Welcome to my life. I've been wearing prosthetic legs for over 40 years, and what can I say.... prosthetics are not a perfect solution and there are definitely trade-offs🤷🏼♀️
Recently, a new amputee told me she doesn't want to wear her prosthetic leg because of the annoyance of taking it on and off every time she goes to the bathroom. To be honest, I've been doing this for so long, I don't even think about it.
Also, please note, this is not a universal fact for all leg amputees as the length of the residual limb and type of prosthetic really impacts so many aspects of our daily lives differently.

CRSomething I didn’t like about the pin socket was how it would pull my leg down. I didn’t like the pressure I felt at the bottom, felt like a bubble. (Weird i know but that’s what I would feel).
