We took a leap of faith and won the bid for an auction property… WHY? 👀 Because although it’s a bit of a state right now, it’s in our dream location, got so much potential and we can turn it into our forever home 🏡✨ At first we were unsure but thought there was no harm in going for a viewing... 13 days later we had the winning bid 😅 The amount of back-and-forth conversations we had worrying about the risk (especially without a survey). Who’s nervous. Who’s emotionally attached. Who’s got a limit… and who doesn’t. It’s a bit like poker — you’re reading people before the first move is even made. Then it’s time to focus. Final checks. Clear head. Game plan ready. Once the auction starts, everything depends on the room. Sometimes you hold back. Sometimes you apply pressure. In this case, I chose to be the aggressor. What no one knew… my final bid was exactly that. Final. If someone had gone just $500 more, we were out. But strategy, timing, and conviction won the day. Property secured. Clients thrilled.
