pretty much Quitting your job means choosing to leave a position you currently work in, usually by informing your employer that you no longer want to continue working there. People may decide to quit for many reasons, such as wanting a better opportunity, needing a healthier work-life balance, moving to a new location, or feeling unhappy or stressed in their current role. When someone quits, they typically give notice—often two weeks—to allow the company time to prepare for their departure and find a replacement. Quitting a job can be both exciting and challenging. On one hand, it can open the door to new experiences, careers, or personal growth. On the other hand, it can also create uncertainty, especially if a person does not yet have another job lined up. Because of this, many people carefully plan before quitting by saving money, searching for new work, or thinking about their long-term goals. In many cases, leaving a job is an important step toward building a career that better fits a person’s interests, values, and future plans.

When your manager is telling you it’s time to set your 2026 goals… but your only goal is to quit. Nothing says “living the dream” like a goal-setting meeting for a job you mentally left 3 years ago. “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” Not here, Brad. Be serious. You’re supposed to map out your future… for a company that replaces you in 2 weeks and calls it “growth.” Here’s the part that should make you a little angry: There are people making your monthly salary in a day selling digital products from their couch while you’re being asked to “circle back” and “stay aligned.” Same internet. Same 24 hours. Very different outcomes. And no — they’re not smarter than you. They just stopped letting a dead-end job be the ceiling on their life. If your 9–5 feels suffocating, it’s not because you lack ambition. It’s because your ambition doesn’t belong there. You don’t need another promotion. You need ownership. Leverage. And a way to monetize what you already know instead of clocking in to make someone else rich. This job isn’t “security.” It’s just familiar. If you know there’s more than this shitty 9–5 and you’re ready to learn how people are actually making money online with digital products — follow along. I’m here to break the illusion and show you what’s possible.

👇🏼 For a long time I thought the solution to a job that didn’t feel right was simple: Quit. And to be fair… I did. In my late 20s, I left a high-paying consulting job with nothing lined up, because something about it just didn’t feel right. 👉🏼 But here’s something I realised afterwards: Leaving the job doesn’t automatically solve everything. Because if you don’t change your relationship with work, ambition, and identity… the same patterns often follow you. So if you’re in a job you don’t love right now, quitting might eventually be the right move. But there’s also work you can do before that moment. 👉🏼 How to survive a job you don’t love (without losing yourself): • Stop expecting fulfilment from it Not every job is meant to be your purpose. Some jobs simply support your life while you figure out what’s next. • Separate your identity from your role Your title isn’t your worth. It’s just one part of your life. • Create small anchors in your day A calm morning, a walk, music, a good lunch. Tiny rituals can make long days feel manageable. • Start exploring before you quit Test ideas. Learn new things. Talk to people. Clarity usually comes from experimenting, not from blowing everything up overnight. • Build a life outside of work Friends, hobbies, movement, creativity. When your whole life depends on your job, the pressure becomes unbearable. • Remember: this is a phase, not a prison Even stable careers evolve. You’re allowed to change direction. The truth: Sometimes the next chapter starts before you leave. In the quiet work of figuring out who you are outside of your job.
