REThe RENNtech Sledgehammer’s widebody merges the bespoke customization process with cutting edge design, precision engineering, and 36 years of Performance Without Compromise. Developed and built entirely in house, the SEC Sledgehammer V12 merges Hartmut’s pre-merger heritage with RENNtech’s state-of-the-art engineering, continuing a lineage rooted in the golden era of bespoke Mercedes-Benz performance. At the heart of the SEC Sledgehammer lies a 7.5 liter naturally aspirated V12, based on the legendary M120 architecture. The engine is comprehensively reengineered with forged internals, CNC-ported cylinder heads, advanced intake and exhaust systems, equal length headers, and bespoke calibration. Output is rated at 650 horsepower and 650 Ib-ft of torque, delivered through a 7-speed manual transaxle. Chassis development includes RENNtech adjustable coil over suspension, reinforced control arms, carbon ceramic braking systems, while bespoke forged 19-inch wheels complete the widebody stance.
