This is the roasted chicken I got alot of requests for from my Shabbat reel. It’s a great staple alone or there are so many ways you can go with it- put it on top of a bed of cauliflower rice, regular rice, potatoes (I have a recipe with shredded potatoes in Passover Made Healthy thats so good), scatter veggies around it, it’s just so good and easy. Best to follow my note at the end of the reel and roast skin side down first and then flip over if youre around, or you can just do it like I did here😊 Happy cooking xo❤️ Kosher, passover, pesach, healthy cooking, healthy made easy.

I tested the viral one-pan orange chicken for Passover… and I honestly didn’t expect this. No oil. No frying. No coating station. Just everything straight into one pan — and somehow it transforms into this glossy, sticky, perfectly caramelized sauce that clings to every piece of chicken. Like… actual takeout energy without the effort. The chicken roasts in its own juices, the sauce reduces down, and what you’re left with is deep, citrusy, sweet-savory flavor with that rich caramelized finish you usually only get from frying. It’s clean, it’s simple, and it feels like a full meal without all the steps. This is one of those recipes that makes you rethink how much you actually need to do to get something really good. Kosher for Passover, minimal ingredients, one pan… and it genuinely delivers. Saving this for every night I want something fast but still feels like I tried. 2 lbs. chicken drummetts Salt Orange juice 6-8 garlic cloves @kosher_taste minced 3 tbsp. Soy sauce Pepper 1 tbsp. Sweet paprika 1 tbsp mustard KFP 1 tbsp ketchup 2 tbsp. Honey In a pan add all your chicken and season with salt. Cover with the OJ and cook on medium high flame till it reduces - about 40-45 minutes. Then add the garlic, pepper, paprika and soy sauce and cover again and cook on low for 10 -15minutes Uncovered , turn off flame add the rest of ingredients Mix well And serve. #chagwithsarah #kosherforpassover

Recipe: Ingredients for the pan: 8-10 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on 2 sweet onions, cut to halves and sliced 5-6 whole garlic cloves, peeled 15-20 small gold potatoes, cut to quarters 5 tablespoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric Ingredients for the sauce: 1/4 cup of olive oil 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric 1 tablespoon of date syrup 1/4 cup of hot water -Put all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix them well. Garnish- fresh dill leaves and flaky salt Method: 1. On a skillet pan on medium heat, pour the olive oil. Add the salt, pepper, and turmeric. 2. Add the sliced onions. Fry and mix for 2-3 minutes until they get a clear color. 3. Add the chicken thighs on top. Fry them from both sides at least 5 minutes to get a nice color. 4. Add the garlic cloves and the potatoes around and on top of the chicken thighs. 5. Using a tablespoon, pour the sauce on top of the chicken and the potatoes. 6. Cover with a lid and cook it on low heat for 1 hour. 7. Transfer to convection broil on 450F for 5-7 minutes to get a nice golden color. 8. Garnish with dill leaves and flaky salt. Enjoy! It’s freezer friendly and reheats beautifully, making it perfect for prepping ahead of time. Ingredients 4 Cornish hens (about 1¼ lb each) you can use whole chicken or chicken pieces as well. 5 golden potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 2 red peppers, cut into large chunks 1 to 2 red onions, cut into large chunks 2 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp garlic powder ½ cup olive oil Drizzle of honey 1 cup fresh orange juice Instructions Preheat your oven to 400°F Wash and pat dry the Cornish hens. You can also use whole chickens if needed. Place the hens in a large baking dish and arrange the potatoes, peppers, and onions all around. Season everything with the paprika, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil and massage everything really well, making sure to get under the skin and inside the cavity of the hens. Pour the orange juice over everything and drizzle lightly with honey. Cover with parchment paper and seal tightly with foil. Bake for about 2 hours. Uncover, baste the hens, and bake for another 30 minutes until golden and caramelized. Find this recipe and more on @kosherdotcom Trust me, this sauce alone is worth saving this recipe. Ingredients: •1 package of chicken thighs (preferably without the •backbone ) •2 medium onions •1/2 cup brown sugar •1/4 cup water • 1/4 cup @heavenandearthfoods coconut aminos •2 tblspoons lemon juice •2 teaspoons crushed garlic •Mushrooms (optional) Directions: Start by searing the chicken on both sides until beautifully golden. Remove the chicken and add your onions to the same pot, letting them soak up all the flavors from the chicken. Sauté until soft and golden. Season with salt, pepper, turmeric, garlic and paprika, stirring to coat the onions evenly. Add in the soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, water, and crushed garlic and mix it all together. Return the chicken to the pot, cover, and cook on low for about 1½ hours, until tender and full of flavor. Baste the chicken every so often while it cooks, spooning the sauce over the chicken so it stays juicy and absorbs all the delicious flavor. It’s one to remember, and something to look forward to all night! 💌save this post and get the RECIPE below ⬇️ Caramelized Onion Chicken 2 lb (1 kilo) chicken thighs or legs 3 Tbs oil 2 or 3 onions, thinly sliced 1 head of garlic, cloves peeled 2 Tbs pure date honey 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp salt 4 dates 4-5 prunes 1 cup water Season chicken generously with salt and pepper on both sides, set aside. Heat oil in an oven safe pan over medium heat, add onions and sprinkle with salt, stir constantly until just turning golden, remove to a plate. Turn up heat on the now empty pan and add chicken skin side down- sprinkle over garlic cloves. Sear till skin is crispy and flip, sear second side and flip back so chicken is skin side up. Drizzle over date honey, paprika, cinnamon, salt, dates and prunes. Pour water around chicken. Heap the onions on top of each chicken piece. This Herb Butter Roasted Chicken and Veggies is the perfect Easter dinner recipe and a beautiful holiday centerpiece. I partnered with @betterthanbouillon and used their Premium Roasted Chicken Base in my compound butter to add rich, bold flavor and incredible depth. It melts into the chicken as it roasts, keeping it juicy and packed with flavor, while the veggies soak up all those savory pan drippings. #EverythingIsBetter #BetterThanBouillonPartner INGREDIENTS For the vegetables: • 1½–2 lbs baby gold potatoes, halved if larger • 3 medium carrots, peeled and chopped • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced into wedges • 3 tbsp olive oil • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp kosher salt • ¼ tsp black pepper For the chicken & herb butter: • 1 whole chicken (5–5½ lbs), patted dry • 1 stick (8 tbsp) unsalted butter, softened • 2 tsp Better Than Bouillon Premium Roasted Chicken Base • zest of 1 lemon • ½ tbsp fresh thyme, chopped • ½ tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped • ½ tsp kosher salt • ½ tsp black pepper For the cavity: • 1 lemon, cut in half • fresh rosemary and thyme sprigs For seasoning outside: • 1 tsp kosher salt INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 425°F. 2. In a large baking dish, add the potatoes, carrots, and onion. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well and spread evenly. 3. In a bowl, mix softened butter with Better Than Bouillon Roasted Chicken Base, lemon zest, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper until fully combined. 4. Gently loosen the skin of the chicken. Spread most of the herb butter underneath the skin. Rub the remaining butter over the outside. 5. Season the exterior of the chicken with kosher salt. Stuff the cavity with lemon and fresh herb sprigs. Tuck the wings underneath and tie the legs with kitchen twine. 6. Place the chicken on top of the vegetables. 7. Roast at 425°F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375°F and continue roasting for 75–90 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. 8. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before carving. One-Pan Mediterranean Roast Chicken that is set to be your new favourite weeknight dinner! Welcome back to my Winner of a Chicken Dinner series - where I share a delicious chicken recipe every month. This is my one-pan Mediterranean roast chicken with oregano, lemon and feta and it saves on both time and washing up! I’m using @farmer_brownsa Naked drumsticks and thighs as I love a bit of crispy chicken skin, but also as chicken on the bone retains its juiciness over a longer cooking period. RECIPE Prep time: 10 mins /Cook time: 1 hour /Serves: 4 to 6 Ingredients: - 800g assorted potatoes, sliced into large chunks - 150ml olive oil - 10ml dried oregano - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 large lemon, zested and juiced, plus half a lemon, sliced - Handful fresh dill, finely chopped - Handful fresh flatleaf parsley, finely chopped - Sea salt and black pepper, to taste - 6 chicken drumsticks and 6 chicken thighs - 40ml black olives - 4 to 5 fresh rosemary sprigs - 200ml dry white wine or chicken stock - 2 rounds feta cheese, roughly crumbled - Extra parsley, to serve Preheat the oven to 200°C and scatter the chopped potatoes into a large roasting dish. In a bowl or jug, combine the olive oil, oregano, garlic, lemon juice and zest and fresh herbs to make the marinade. Add the chicken to the potatoes and pour over the marinade, coating everything thoroughly. Scatter over the olives and tuck the lemon slices and rosemary around the chicken and potatoes. Pour over the wine or stock and cover the dish with foil. Roast the chicken covered for the first 30 minutes before removing the foil and cooking uncovered to brown for the remaining half hour. Scatter the feta over the chicken for the last 10 to 15 minutes of cooking. The chicken is ready when the skin is crisp and golden and the juices run clear. To serve, scatter over a little fresh parsley and enjoy with a Greek salad and fresh crusty bread. #winnerchickendinner

It’s rich, flavorful, and the sauce is honestly unreal. Not an olive person? Just leave them out, it’ll still be just as delicious. Recipe: Ingredients Chicken thighs + drumsticks 1 Tbsp Olive oil 1 tbsp Paprika 1 tsp Garlic salt 1 tbsp Chicken consommé 1 white onion, chopped 2 carrots, sliced 3 celery stalks, chopped 1 tomato, chopped 3 slices of lemon, halved 2–3 cloves garlic, minced Salt + pepper Boiling water Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped 1 can Israeli pitted olives Optional: 1 jalapeño, sliced Directions Season chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic salt, and chicken consommé. Sear for 3 minutes on each side in an oven-safe pan, then remove and set aside. In the same pan, sauté onion, carrots, celery, tomato, lemon, and garlic. Season with chicken consommé, salt, and pepper. Add boiling water and mix, then stir in cilantro, olives, and optional jalapeño. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Add the chicken back in, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes. Transfer to a 350°F oven and bake for about 45 minutes, until fully cooked. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice 🤍 Save this for your Passover Seder or add it to your Shabbat rotation. The onions melt, the leeks soften, and the pomegranate creates the most beautiful glossy sauce. Perfect make-ahead meal for Yom Tov. ⸻ WHAT YOU NEED • 2½–3 lb chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) • 3 tbsp olive oil • 3 large onions, very thinly sliced • 2 leeks, chopped (set aside some completely full leek rounds to tuck in between the chicken before covering to braise) • 4 garlic cloves, smashed • 1 cup pomegranate juice • 2 tbsp date syrup • 2–3 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar • 1½ tsp kosher salt • ½ tsp black pepper • 1 tsp paprika • ¼ tsp cinnamon • Optional: parsley or pomegranate seeds ⸻ HOW TO MAKE IT Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. 1. Build the base Heat olive oil in a wide pot. Add onions with a pinch of salt and cook 15–20 minutes until soft, golden, and jammy. Add leeks and garlic, cook 2–3 minutes. ( in the video clip I add a leak towards the end, but it would be better to put them in with the onions, I made that mistake) Remove and set aside. 2. Sear the chicken Add a little more oil if needed. Place chicken skin-side down in batches—don’t crowd the pan. Sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove. 3. Mix the sauce Whisk pomegranate juice, date syrup, honey, vinegar, salt, pepper, paprika, and cinnamon. 4. Bring it together Pour in the sauce, return the onions, and stir. Nestle chicken on top. 5. Make it beautiful Tuck in leek rounds between the chicken pieces. 6. Braise Cover and simmer 35–45 minutes until tender. Uncover for the last 10 minutes if you want the sauce thicker and glossy. ⸻ TO SERVE Spoon the sauce over the chicken and finish with pomegranate seeds or parsley. A Yom Tov dish that looks as good as it tastes. Enjoy!
