UMI’ve opened my vinyl vault.
For the first time ever, I’m offering limited copies of my early releases — original vinyl records from my personal archive.
Many of these records are long sold out, some of them almost 30 years old, and most copies have never been played.
You’ll find more than 50 different titles released on legendary labels like Recycled Loops, Consumer Recreation, 1605 and others.
Each record comes directly from my personal archive.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

AKThe joy of finally getting through the last chunk of last year’s vinyl haul.
Busy weekend getting back into the swing of things following our epic ski trip to Mammoth.
A bit of housekeeping to go through the last crate of vinyl but we got it done!
Sorted through a crate of roughly 90 vinyl albums, saved a few for listening purposes, about 50 went to a neighbor who got a new record player and wanted some dance music records, and put aside a dozen or so to sample.
Really stoked to rip some samples and rework them in my modern house & techno productions!
Going to be my first time doing so, and if you’ve got any tips for the process, please do let me know in the comments :-)

NOIt was exactly 12 years ago that I hosted my first up record shop at Now-Again Records HQ here in Highland Park. A year later, in 2015, there was an LA Times piece about all of the change that we’d been witnessing ourselves for over a decade at that point – and there was a pointed reference to the large amount of record shops in the neighborhood.
In 2016 we opened an adjoining space to Now-Again HQ, and for the better part of ten years that space became the home to our Rappcats events We expanded the concept to more than record shops as Jeff Jank, the Now-Again team and I hosted cultural gatherings of likeminded people from the world over, artists, winemakers, musicians both young and old. And, of course, record collectors.
The first event in that space was a joint production with my old friend, Tropicalia In Furs catalyst Joel Stones. So it was fitting that ten years later, with Rappcats no longer, Joel returned one final time to our expanded Now-Again lofts to host a special event with me – and that we announce the end of the events we’ve been so proud to bring to Los Angeles.
We will wrap this series at the end of 2026.
We will post more news here as to the final slate – which will include our stalwart friends DJ Shadow and the Groove Merchant’s Chris Veltri.
