OSالطفلة هند لم تكن سوى زهرة صغيرة، حلمها أن تكبر في حضن عائلتها وتعيش طفولتها كما يستحق كل طفل في هذا العالم. لكنها وجدت نفسها فجأة محاصرة داخل سيارة غارقة في الدماء، بعدما استشهد جميع أفراد أسرتها أمام عينيها.
وحيدةً بين الجثامين، لم تجد هند سوى هاتف صغير بين يديها، لتستجمع شجاعتها وتطلب النجدة من الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني. صوتها المبحوح كان مليئاً بالخوف، لكنها تمسكت بخيط رفيع من الأمل أن أحداً سيأتي لينقذها.
لكن ذلك الأمل لم يدم طويلاً… فقبل أن تصل يد الرحمة، سبقتها رصاصات الغدر. جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي كان أسرع، حاصروها، ثم أطفأوا آخر نفس في صدرها الصغير، لتلحق بأهلها شهداء.
قصة هند ليست مجرد مأساة لطفلة فلسطينية؛ إنها جرح مفتوح في ضمير الإنسانية، وصفعة للعالم الذي يشاهد الأطفال يُذبحون ولا يحرك ساكناً. هند اليوم رمز للبراءة المغتالة، وصرخة أبدية بأن دماء الأطفال ليست أرقاماً، بل أرواح بريئة قُطفت قبل أوانها.

A memorial held on the anniversary of her death.
Hind Rajab was a 6-year-old Palestinian girl from Gaza. On January 29, 2024, she was killed after the car she was trapped in came under Israeli military fire. Her death, along with that of her family members and the medics who tried to rescue her, is one example of many others killed during the ongoing genocide.
During the vigil, a speech by Hind’s mother was read aloud — a voice of grief, love, and unwavering demand for justice.
