A man’s attempt to prove his wife’s alleged affair through a DNA test has been turned down by the High Court in a recent case. The husband had filed for divorce, saying his wife left him more than two years ago. He also wanted DNA tests for their two children to prove that he was not their biological father. However, the trial court refused, and he then moved to the High Court. The High Court clearly said no. It ruled that claims like adultery must be proved with proper evidence, not by dragging children into it. The judges stressed that kids cannot be used as tools in fights between parents. The Court also pointed out that under the law, a child born during a valid marriage is assumed to be legitimate.
