EN🖊 Have you ever tried to write a book?
🖊 Don’t be fooled by this video; it’s a ton of fun. BUT trying to end up in Barnes & Noble if you aren’t a celebrity is real hard, especially in YA, MG, and children’s books.
🖊 I recently attended a conference for #SCBWI where I wrote down this quote: Phil Pullman said, “There are three things a writer needs: talent, persistence, and luck, and the only thing you can control is persistence.“
🖊 I love that quote, because yeah, maybe I wasn’t born with as much talent. And maybe I haven’t been as lucky. But hey, I have been persistent, and I‘m glad I haven’t given up. I’ve learned so much over the last nine years. I’ve met the best of friends. And I’ve loved the journey, even with these moments that get me down.
