Great interview with BA HONS FILMMAKING: PRODUCTION Graduate '24 @evieteller about her time on the course and what she has gone on to do. Evie focussed on Production Management / Coordination from quite early on in the course, working on a range of very different projects before co-writing / directing queer-rom-com ‘Serendipity’ in her final year. Whilst on the course she was assigned Industry mentor Head of Production @ajwalp @skylarkmedia and gained extensive work experience on the feature films ‘Dark Game’ (Ed Westwick) @happyhourproductions and ‘Bad Apples’ (Saoirse Ronan) @pulsefilms and a range of shorts and commercials. Since graduating, she was accepted by @uk_screenskills Trainee Finder - Production Department and has been employed as a Production Assistant / Trainee on projects @Triongl @hellodeerstudios @itvxofficial and has just joined the crew for @bbcdramas long running drama 'Not Going Out' . As part of our first ever cohort we could not be more proud of her.

This week, AFTRS welcomed industry partners, friends, staff and students back on campus for the 2026 Screen Showcase, an annual celebration of the outstanding work created by our graduands. Six films and four excerpts from the Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production and Master of Arts Screen programs were showcased, highlighting the breadth and depth of storytelling produced across 2025. As always, the showcase provided an important opportunity for emerging creators to connect with practitioners from across the screen industry and to share the work that reflects their craft, collaboration and dedication. Adding to the night’s conversations, Lachlan A’Court, a graduand of the Graduate Diploma in Radio and Podcasting, joined industry guests and fellow students to discuss the films and share what they’re most excited about for their future careers.
