The change in weather and the amount of time that has passed since he was first reported as missing continues to increase the heightened sense of urgency in locating Rene.
As such, KZA Council has consulted with and received the approval of his family to advise the OPP that KZA authorizes a $25,000 reward to be made payable to the person(s) who provide information/statement(s) to the OPP which lead to the timely return of RENE KING to his family and community. The reward is NOT affiliated or administrated by the OPP or with Crimestoppers, and is NOT connected in any way to any criminal charges/conviction that may be associated with this incident. This initiative reflects the compassion and determination of Gull Bay FN as a whole and our continued support to bring Rene home.
It is Council's hope that the community and residents of the greater area hear the plea of Rene's family to seek resolution. The monetary offer of appreciation is hoped to be a way to confidentially recognize the strength of the individual(s) who are encouraged to come forward to OPP/KZA Police with information of Rene's location as soon as possible. The continued cooperation in the search investigation is certainly welcomed and respected.
