SPThis rare view shows just how massive Starship Ship 39 really is.
At Starbase, SpaceX moves Starship vehicles using enormous self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs). These multi-wheel platforms can carry thousands of tons while slowly driving the rocket between assembly buildings, test stands, and the launch site.
From ground level, you can see the huge triangular support structure beneath the ship, which distributes the vehicle’s weight while it travels. Even without the booster attached, Starship alone stands about 165 feet (50 meters) tall.
Rollouts like this may look routine, but they are a critical part of launch preparation—carefully moving one of the most powerful spacecraft ever built toward its next round of testing.
Standing beneath it, the scale of modern rockets becomes impossible to ignore.
