I was really hesitant to take Roblox away because I’m the parent that checks phones/tablets every night history, messages, everything. I’ve never found anything inappropriate with my boys personally, but the addiction to the game was getting out of hand. They wake up talking Roblox. Go to sleep talking Roblox. And my youngest couldn’t focus on anything else anymore. Plus with the lawsuits, the stories circulating online, and the concerns other parents have shared (allegedly involving unsafe chats, predators using games to reach kids, and kids being exposed to content they shouldn’t). it was just too much for me to ignore anymore. For MY kids, it wasn’t about them doing anything wrong it was about breaking the obsession and helping them step back into real life again. Kids go through growing pains when you take away something familiar, but I’d rather deal with tears now than trouble later. If your child still plays, please stay on top of their chats, their friend list, the games they enter, and their screen time. 💛 Parenting isn’t perfect we’re all just trying to keep our babies safe. #ParentingTruths #MomLife #RaisingBoys #DigitalSafety #Roblox GrowingPains ParentingJourney ProtectOurKids

Screen addiction is very serious. It hurts kids. Teens. College students. Hurts families. We don’t want our kids to be addicted to anything. If your child is over-using a screen or addicted to one, you probably feel like you have tried everything. But you havent. There is a lot a parent can do to break #screenaddiction . In many cases, its the #parents who are #enablers and enable the addiction. If you need help, have hope. I have a great resource for you. We don’t realise it, but a child’s world can shift silently… one tap, one level, one game at a time. What begins as “harmless fun” slowly pulls them into a space where hours disappear, moods change, and reality blurs. Parents see the anger. The withdrawal. The blank stares. The obsession. But behind it all is a mind struggling to break free from a loop designed to hook them. This isn’t about banning games — it’s about saving childhood, about recognising the signs early, about choosing connection over convenience. Your attention is the one thing a game can never replace. ❤️ #DigitalAddictionAwareness #MindfulParenting #ProtectYourChildsMind #ParentingRealTalk #ScreenTimeStruggles #InfluencerParenting #RaisingTeensToday #AwarenessForParents

Your kid’s not addicted to their phone… their brain is 🧠😒 Every scroll, every like, every little hit of dopamine is rewiring their mind to crave constant stimulation and making real life feel boring. The world is losing its magic for them… because their phone is stealing their childhood. Feeding the monster—one swipe at a time. This image is not horror fiction — it’s today’s reality. 📱 Screen addiction in children is silently changing how young brains grow, think, and feel. When a child spends hours on mobile phones, tablets, or reels: • Dopamine gets overstimulated • Attention span drops drastically • Emotional regulation weakens • Sleep cycles get disturbed • Real-world curiosity slowly dies Over time, the screen doesn’t just entertain the child — it starts controlling the brain. 🧠 Neuroscience shows that excessive screen exposure during early childhood: • Delays language development • Reduces problem-solving skills • Increases aggression, anxiety, and dependency • Makes children crave instant pleasure instead of effort ⚠️ The biggest danger? This addiction looks harmless… until it becomes permanent. ✅ SOLUTION: What Parents Must Do (Practical & Realistic) ✔️ Limit screen time (especially under age 5) ✔️ No screens before sleep ✔️ Replace screens with: • Storytelling • Outdoor play • Creative toys • Parent-child conversations ✔️ Be a role model — children copy what they see ✔️ Create “no phone zones” at home 💡 Remember: Screens can be tools — not babysitters. Give your child memories, not addictions. Because habits built in childhood… shape the entire life.#parentlyinfo #viral #parentingtips #instatrend #viral

Phones may be teaching kids the wrong way to cope... Dr Anna Lembke explains that using phones to calm distressed children can train them to reach for screens whenever they feel uncomfortable. Over time, the brain adapts and needs more stimulation to feel soothed. What works short term can quietly build dependence, especially for children already vulnerable to stress or trauma. Are screens helping kids regulate emotions or avoid them? Credit: Dr Anna Lembke x @thediaryofaceopodcast
