When something happens and we think “I’ll deal with that later,” that later doesn’t go anywhere, it stores itself in the spine. Most people don’t realise the body is holding onto something until it starts showing up physically. Pain, tension, symptoms, something that begins to interfere with how we’re living day to day. That’s usually when we finally pay attention. What we’re working with here isn’t forcing change or chasing a cathartic experience. It’s creating enough safety for the system to recognise it no longer needs to hold on in the same way allowing the body to reorganise itself naturally.
