This is a common problem I see with blowouts on this texture of hair
After I did my shear work I made sure the hair was completely dry and added some matte paste to scrunch everything up

DAShear Work For Beginners โ๏ธ
Before this, I went in w the 3 guard and chopped off his mullet in the back. I then went in with shear work to blend the clipper work into the shear work. I wanted the shape in the back to be established first because my clients main focus was the back. He wanted a style change but still wanted maximum length in the back. Once i cut the sides and top with scissors it was easy to execute a crispy low taper.
Keep things simple, you donโt need to know everything about haircutting to make your clients happy. Just focus on the important things they care about and execute with what you know. ๐
