LU🔑 I remember getting the keys to my house, the feelings of achievement like all the hard work and promotions had paid off. A single mum and I finally had a house to raise my baby, a garden for the dog to play in and to do a total house renovation was the dream!
But sometimes seeing all these beautiful homes on socials makes me feel like I need to keep up and they say ‘comparison is the thief of joy’ so instead of comparing, let’s inspire! Know that houses take time to make a home, renovations are NOT quick, that every room transformation takes time and budgeting for.
In the time I have lived in this house my family has doubled, do I feel I need to move to a bigger house? No thank you, that would mean bigger expenses, more house to keep clean and it really doesn’t matter where we are or how big the bathroom is home is a feeling 💕
