Must Visit Restaurant Hotspot in Long Island City 🥢 I recently visited Softbite in LIC and was genuinely impressed by the entire experience. The menu blends Japanese-inspired comfort food with a modern touch, and every dish felt intentional and well executed. We began with the Mango Matcha, Raichi Mojito, and Yuzu Iced Tea — each refreshing, balanced, and distinct in flavor. The Chicken Karaage was perfectly crisp and tender while the Nori Fries were savory and incredibly addictive. The Niku Udon Soup was rich and comforting and the Miso Salmon was cooked beautifully with a delicate glaze. We concluded with the Softbite Crème Pancakes and Vanilla Soft Serve which provided the perfect sweet finish. If you’ve been to @baospastry.us in Flushing, you already know the line is always crazy - but it moves fast, and you can literally watch them making everything fresh in the kitchen. I tried a mix of their popular items and als why I could since many things were sold out when I went. Not everything was a hit, but that pork floss cake alone is worth the trip. I thought the black sesame skewer was light despite it being mochi! it’s for the girlies who like creamy desserts ✨ the meal cup is more for those who are looking for a light yogurt breakfast but want to throw in some mochi to keep them happy and full. lastly the mugwort dduk is chewy and for people who might not necessarily like how sweet a regular hodduk may be. it seems like they also sell their rice cakes online, so if you’re interested give them a go. . . . #nycfoodie #nyccreator #nyceats #nyccreator #foodgallery32
