FASolaro fabric was actually invented in 1907 by an English Medical Doctor of Italian origin, who thought it had healing properties because it reflected the sun.
In fact, it was used for the uniforms of the British military in the Indian colonies.
Today, we obviously know that it didnโt have these healing properties. Itโs a fabric that has a different warp and weft color, which creates an iridescent effect on the front and a brick color on the back.
It has a weight of 360gr/mt, it is perfect for mid-seasons and, in particular, for morning meetings, not also for evening meetings, as suggested by its name, Solaro, which contains the word โsun.โ
