I recreated the sound design for this Kick75 ad from scratch - foley, music, and final mix. Here's the breakdown:
1. Started by syncing a few musical notes to key motion moments in the video. Built out the rest using synthesisers, then reversed some notes to create musical build-ups between transitions.
2. For the attachment sounds, I recorded clicks from random houshold items and synced them to each piece flying onto the keyboard. Layered multiple takes and added reverb to keep them subtle and blended.
3. Threw around some lego figures and kinder toys (as one does) to create the sound of keys falling onto the keyboard. Sometimes the best foley comes from whatever's lying around:)
