ITOkay so… in 2025 I decided to bring my prayer public.
Which is wild because a few years ago I would’ve been like, absolutely not. Praying in public? Cringe. Praying in groups? Extra cringe. Praying on stages, out loud, in front of people? NoOoOoooO.
And now it’s literally one of my favorite parts of what I do.
For me, prayer isn’t religious. It’s communion. It’s how I set the energy of a space. It’s how we come together around one shared purpose and one shared vision. It’s how we connect to something bigger than us. Something more loving than us. Something beyond the mind (which we spend way too much time in).
And I swear… everything goes better when I add prayer. My speaking. My presentations. My work. My life. It’s like the moment I start from connection, everything flows differently.
Also here’s the thing. Prayer isn’t just something you do for five minutes with your eyes closed. Every moment is a prayer. Your energy is a prayer. Your actions are a prayer. Your life is literally showing what you’re asking for, whether you realize it or not.
So it becomes less about saying the “right” words and more about living in alignment.
I keep it simple. Morning and night I take a few minutes for gratitude. Thank my body. Thank my health. Thank the day. Then I get quiet and just listen. See what’s there. See what’s available. Let myself be guided.
And if you’ve ever wondered how to pray… it’s not about instructions.
It’s about making space so your soul can speak.
