CHNew production car record for front-wheel drives: I set a lap time at Hockenheim today in the VW Golf GTI Edition 50, and this extreme Golf really took me by surprise. The Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy-R (1:59.2 mins) is no longer the fastest front-wheel drive car on the Hockenheimring GP circuit – that title now belongs to the GTI Edition 50.
