It’s not just about the supplements we take, it’s about achieving energy and chi flow as much as possible and keep things moving. Stagnation = inflammation. Foam rolling, walking, jumping, bouncing, vibration, anything to get things moving and flowing is key to drainage and elimination. You don’t need any fancy tools and treatments (though those are nice and fun), a simple hard foam roller or even a kids’s soccer ball can help get things moving! I like to do it after working out as part as my stretching routine or right before bed 🛌#lymphaticdraiange #detox #elimination #wellness

👇 Full stretching routine: This is the stretching routine I do before all my runs which takes around 5 mins: - Feed the chickens (hamstring sweeps) - Knee hugs - Open + close gates - Quad stretch - Tip toe walks - Heel walks - Legs swings (forward + sideways) - Buttkicks - High knees This makes sure to cover all the muscles that will be used during the runs to avoid tightness and risk of injury. Whether it’s before/after a workout, in the morning, before bed, or middle of the day in my @manitobah mocs. Usually takes about 10-30 minutes, depending on how I’m feeling. Growing up as an athlete and dancer, we would always have to stretch during our warm ups. I built quite a bit of flexibility from dance and sports throughout the years. I remember in high school during fitness testing one year, I was scoring record numbers during the sit and reach test. I’m definitely not as flexible as I used to be but our lodge keeper says that stretching is one of the keys to maintaining youthfulness, so that’s been my motivation to stretch more and try to regain some flexibility. #stretch #movement #wellness #health #healing #fitness #flexibility #stretching #dailymovement #athlete #dancer #routine #moveyourbody"
