For the incoming Class of 2029, HPU received: ⭐ EARLY DECISION 820 Applications (39.5% increase) 608 Admitted 🎯 HPU is known for accepting the bulk of their students in the Early Decision round, as demonstrated interest weighs very heavily in their admissions process. ⭐ EARLY ACTION 14,932 Applications received (36.1% increase) 14% LOWER acceptance rate than last year Official admit numbers have not been released yet 🎯 EA ADMITTED STUDENT PROFILE 3.67 unweighted average GPA 79% from outside North Carolina 21% First Generation Students 💫 For students who receive a deferral, HPU recommends: 1. Scheduling an interview with your admissions counselor 2. Visit Campus 3. Submit mid-year grades As you can see from their suggestions - continuing to demonstrate interest is key!! Looking ahead to next term, she shares her excitement about taking the course "Housing in America, Housing in Bennington" with David Bond, where she’ll explore the pressing issue of housing inequity in relation to her focus of food studies.
