ANI’ve noticed many people falling victim to scams when buying puppies lately, including some who have sent me videos from new local sellers😳👀. Some have even mentioned encountering said sellers misrepresenting mixed-breed dogs as purebreds, often at similar prices to genuine purebred pups. It’s concerning, which is why I’ve been asked by some followers to create a video explaining how to identify different sizes and avoid scams.
Remember, it’s essential to be cautious no matter where you buy from. If a puppy is barely 5-6 weeks old and being passed off as much older than it actually is just to appear smaller and fetch a higher price, that’s a red flag for a scam. Teacups especially are VERY RARE. No dog should be separated from its mother before 8 weeks old. It’s actually illegal. Checking a puppy’s teeth and hair length can indicate its age, helping you avoid illegal sales of underage dogs.
