1O4TH PLACE INTERS @ KING AND QUEEN OF SOUTH BOURNEMOUTH.
Had no expectations as this was my first inters and knew it would be tougher so I was really happy with this result. Especially given some of the issues on day.
Great event hosted by @teamfortisgym - long day, was absolutely cabbaged by the end of it.
Event 1 - 200KG Axel deadlift for reps in 60s.
Knew this was a light deadlift for an Inters category so it would just have to be a cardio fest as everyone will be getting high reps. Pulled 17 (PB) and got the win ๐ฅ. Great start.
Event 2 - Max Log (3 Attempts)

This wound me up. Having 116 in training 120 was going to be final attempt, all I wanted out of today was a log PB. There was 30 mins between each attempt and staying warm on different shaped log just ruined it. A lot of people missed attempts for same issue so didnโt impact points much.
Event 3 - 100KG Hussafel Carry for max Distance
Managed 90M which is PB, wouldnโt have had it without @kyl96cox reminding me to breath ๐
Event 4 - Sandbag to Shoulder 130 / 120 / 100
Heavier the more points per bag but I realised I wasnโt going to get the 130 and the 120 wasnโt worth the attempt as so far people had only a few points so plan was milk the 100 and get a middle of pack result. Got 5 which is a PB ๐ฅ
Event 5 - Hercules Hold 75KG a hand.
Managed 50 secs. Sick setup for it. Think I didnโt get my foot placing correct from start so I was fighting each side from start.
Few more Inters booked in for the year, so LFG ๐
