BEThree months of loving, holding, and watching our little August grow 🌱
I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I even knew I’d love it. But what I didn’t realize is how deeply I’d feel it. Motherhood has cracked open a part of me I didn’t know existed. I simply love being a mom—especially his mom.
In just three months, he’s brought more smiles, more snuggles, more routines, and a lot more coos and “goo-goos” (if you know, you know). He’s changing every day—and so are we.
The other night I asked Scotty what the rose of his day was, and he said it was the way August looked at me when I came home—his pupils dilated, completely in awe of someone he just loves. I don’t ever want to forget that.
We’re sleep-deprived and still fumbling through this season, but it’s the most beautiful one yet.
