This announcement comes after years of whistleblowing by Judicial Watch clients Jasmine Battle and Mateo Dunne. “For years, Battle and Dunne cooperated with law enforcement, including the Department of Justice, resulting in today’s public announcement of an ongoing criminal investigation,” said Judicial Watch President @TomFitton. “For speaking out against a corrupt agency, they have been retaliated against, mistreated, and maligned. The systems that were created to protect them as whistleblowers, like the USAID Office of Inspector General, the Office of Special Counsel, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, have thus far failed them. Last week, I had the privilege of attending the 2024 United Nations General Assembly during High-Level Week @unitednations The 79th session of the UNGA marks a pivotal moment in the global push to accelerate progress towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I was honored to participate in several impactful events focused on key areas such as women in leadership, accessing capital, Nigeria-U.S. business relations, digital connectivity, financial inclusion, and more. A special thank you to African Business Stories for hosting the roundtable event where both I and ORIKI were featured. It was a privilege to engage with esteemed leaders such as the President & Chair of the Board of US EXIM Bank, the President of USADF, the President & CEO of the ONE Campaign, the MD of Afri EXIM Bank, and many others. The discussion around ‘Funding the Gap: Strategies to Accelerate the Growth of African Female Entrepreneurs’ was both timely and impactful. It was also a joy to reconnect with changemakers from across the globe, celebrate with UBA Bank, and engage in meaningful conversations on amplifying @orikigroup impact across Africa and beyond.
