A Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras é uma companhia aérea brasileira fundada em 2008 pelo empresário David Neeleman. A empresa nasceu com a proposta de ampliar a conectividade aérea no Brasil, principalmente ligando cidades que tinham pouca ou nenhuma oferta de voos regulares.
Com base operacional em Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos, em Campinas, a companhia cresceu rapidamente e passou a operar uma grande frota, incluindo aeronaves da Embraer e da Airbus. Em 2012, a empresa expandiu ainda mais sua presença ao se fundir com a TRIP Linhas Aéreas, fortalecendo sua malha regional.
Atualmente, a Azul é uma das maiores companhias aéreas do Brasil, com centenas de voos diários e uma das maiores redes de destinos do país, conectando dezenas de cidades no Brasil e também destinos internacionais.
