I think I’m a little obsessed with Indianapolis and I can’t believe I’ve never been before! We had to run a few errands outside of Fort Wayne so we decided treat ourselves to a day in Indy, which is a quick and easy 2 hour drive. We took a walk along Mass Ave which has so much to offer! Lots of great shopping and restaurant options! We stopped in for lunch at @bakersfieldmassave where I grabbed some tacos and their classic margarita. After lunch and a little more walking we stumbled upon a super cute farmers market. Then we grabbed an ice cream from @subzeroindiana which was a totally cool process to watch then make the ice cream to order. If you’ve ever wanted to pick your own summer blueberries in Indiana, Sunrise Harvest Farm should be on your list of places to visit! @sunriseharvestfarm 🫐🧺🌤️ This family owned and operated farm in northern, IN has you-pick blueberries during July and it’s the best way to spend a summer day! Our kids loved this!! We spent the morning filling our buckets full of ripe, juicy berries and then headed over to play at the kids corner of the farm before lunchtime. They have some really cute things for kids like a corn pit and a tractor playset with a slide and swings.🛝🌽 When it was time to leave, the kids grabbed some free popsicles on the way out and we put our blueberries into our to-go container so we could snack on them during the ride home!🫐 Sunrise Harvest Farms you-pick blueberry season lasts the whole month of July. Prices for blueberries are $2.50/lb or you can choose from pre-picked berries: 2 pints - $8 || 5lbs - $20 || 10lbs - $40. @sunriseharvestfarm hours are Monday- Saturday 7:30-5:00pm. You can also come and pick your own berries after hours.
