How to actually help your bride:
1. Handle questions yourself
If vendors, family, or groomsmen message that morning, you deal with it.
The bride shouldn’t be answering logistics while getting ready.
2. Make sure food & drinks arrive
Confirm breakfast, coffee, and water show up on time.
A hungry bridal party = stress and delays.
3. Know the timeline
Have the ceremony time, arrival time, and photo time saved in your phone.
Tell your groomsmen too — don’t ask the bride.
4. Keep family logistics off her plate
If your mum/aunt/cousin is unsure about transport or timing, they contact you — not her.
5. Be early and fully ready
Not “on time.” Early.
Dressed, organised, pockets sorted, shoes on.
6. Bring the important items yourself
Double-check you personally have:
• Rings
• Vows
• Marriage paperwork
• Wallet/ID
• Phone on silent
7. Keep the groomsmen organised
Make sure they know where to be, when to be there, and are dressed on time — so no one messages the bride.
8. Send one calm message — not questions
Something simple like: “Everything’s sorted here. Can’t wait to see you.”
9. Give her one thoughtful moment
A handwritten letter, a voice note, her favourite coffee delivered, or a small meaningful gift.
Not for Instagram — just something that helps her breathe and feel reassured.
