One thing I'm shore of - you don't have to book a flight to book a holiday 🦀🌊 An out-sanding trip less than 2 hours from our home. I think I shell in love with the North Yorkshire coast a little. Staycations are very much in 🤩 where to next? Comment your best UK holiday recommendations ⬇️ No sea-crets here - here's everything we got up to: 📍walk/run the Cleveland Way. We stayed in Hinderwell so the walk to Runswick Bay was spectacular 🌊 head into Staithes at dusk for a walk around the quieter streets and have a drink at Cod & Lobster (or dinner - the menu looked insane and the views!) 🌅 up early to watch the sunrise then back to the cottage to have a slow breakfast in front of the fire ☀️ Runswick Bay beach at low tide is marvellous and dog friendly in winter months 🥪 head into Sandsend for the best sandwich you've ever eaten at Mary's 🚌 the bus between all the little towns and villages is super easy and frequent - would recommend to avoid having to park and so you can enjoy all the pubs! 🐟 fish and chips anywhere around the area is elite. We got a takeaway from Hinderwell Fish & Chip shop and let me tell you 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 🍤 dinner at the cutesy Fish Cottage. It's dog friendly on the inside now too! Also very cute for a takeaway in the day and to sit outside. Their fish tacos 👏🏽 📍A stroll around the beautiful houses in the streets of Runswick Bay - I will retire there one day! 🚘 highly recommend a drive back over the North York Moors - you can't have holiday blues when the drive home is that stunning. So many incredible view points to get out and marvel at as well 📸 . . . #yorkshire #staycation #cottage #holidaycottage #beach #dogfriendly #yorkshirecoast #runswickbay #staithes #hinderwell #whitby #sandsend #seafood #englishholiday #beach #englishbeach #beachlife
