The 4th one might get me canceled 🫠 People love to say “just quit” like you don’t have bills to pay. Or “just be glad you have a job” like you can’t be grateful and low-key miserable at the same time. 😂 But here are 4 things that actually help: 1️⃣ Set a non-negotiable shut-down boundary at the end of the day. 👉 Pick a time. Close the laptop. Walk away. (And stop checking emails until the next work day!) ⚡Your first job is to keep work from bleeding into your home and personal time. 2️⃣ Make a list of what your job gives to you right now. 👉 I’m not talking about toxic positivity. I’m talking about the practical ways it’s supporting your life. —It covers health insurance. —I get to use my brain and technical skills. —This keeps my family stable while I figure out what’s next. ⚡️REMIND yourself of these often. 3️⃣ Look for moments in the day that feel a little bit better. 👉A customer or client you genuinely helped. A coworker who makes you laugh. A project where you can show off your badass Excel skills. ⚡You can always find small glimmers everyday if you are looking for them. 4️⃣ Tamp down the venting and gossiping. (**dodges rotten tomatoes**) 👉The “we’re all miserable together” complaining circle feels like bonding, but it can actually make it worse. Because just when you’re bouncing back, someone else is ready to drag you back down. ⚡If you need to process externally, set new limits with your work friends (e.g. 5-minute vent session followed by funny memes and encouragement the rest of the day). ⚡️Or ask a trusted friend or spouse to listen and support you, but not amplify it. — 🎇 Want all 4 tips as a short PDF guide you can save? Comment GUIDE and I’ll send it to you! (PS: Make sure to hit follow so you can get it in your DM’s.) ✨ If this was helpful, hit follow and let’s hang! I share tips for navigating workplace BS and burnout…plus slightly unhinged work humor to keep it fun. 🥳 . . . #workstress #corporateburnout #womenatwork #toxicjob #workboundaries

No one teaches you this — especially as women — but oversharing at work can quietly work against you. Here are 10 things I no longer share in the corporate world 👇 1️⃣ How overwhelmed or burnt out I am (It’s often remembered longer than your results.) 2️⃣ Every detail of my personal life (Friendly ≠ open book.) 3️⃣ My doubts about my abilities (Confidence is assumed before it’s proven.) 4️⃣ My long-term exit plans or “dream job” (You’re judged on commitment, not honesty.) 5️⃣ Workplace frustrations in the wrong spaces (Not everyone is a safe person.) 6️⃣ My health struggles unless necessary (Unfortunately, it can change how you’re perceived.) 7️⃣ How hard something feels (Results matter more than effort in corporate culture.) 8️⃣ Office gossip (even when it feels harmless) (It always circles back.) 9️⃣ My boundaries as apologies (“Sorry, I can’t” invites pushback. “I’m unavailable” doesn’t.) 🔟 My entire emotional state (Your nervous system deserves support — just not from your coworkers.) This isn’t about being cold or fake. It’s about being regulated, strategic, and protected — especially as a woman navigating work stress and burnout. 👉 Follow for corporate wellness, boundaries, and stress management for women who want to thrive at work without burning out. #corporategirlie #womenatwork #workplaceboundaries #corporatewellness #burnoutrecovery

Most people don’t fail in leadership… They walk into it BLIND. No clarity. No boundaries. No understanding of what they just signed up for. And then they’re stressed, overwhelmed, and dealing with problems they never saw coming. Before you accept ANY management or leadership role… you need to start asking better questions. Because once you’re in — expectations change. And not always in your favor. If you’re serious about protecting yourself at work and moving strategically… Start with my “Leadership Survival Bundle” in my bio. . . . #workplacedrama#womenatwork#workplaceculture#jobstress#warehousejobs

Comment “clock” for the book🎀 Not so friendly reminder that your job might be love bombing you. All the praise, the “we’re a family,” the early validation… just enough to make you feel seen, valued, and a little too loyal. And then suddenly? The expectations go up, the boundaries disappear, and you’re working overtime for free trying not to “let them down.” I hate to be the one to say it, but your job is not your boyfriend. It is not loving you back. This is one of the biggest mindset shifts from my book Clock In—because the second you stop expecting your job to emotionally fulfill you, your entire career gets a whole lot less stressful (and a lot more strategic). If you’ve ever felt guilty for setting boundaries at work… this one’s for you. #careercoach #jobsearch #work #womenatwork

A reminder for women in the workplace. When a man is losing his cool, you are allowed to remain still and present. Eye contact, composure and silence are often enough. Staying grounded means you don’t absorb or manage someone else’s reaction. #womenatwork #professionalwomen #confidence #leadership #workplaceculture

This moment from Suits LA isn’t just TV drama—it’s workplace reality. Women, especially women of color, are often mistaken for junior staff, assistants, or not assumed to be leaders at all. That’s bias in action. 🚫 Research shows that women in the U.S. are twice as likely to be mistaken for someone more junior at work than men (Lean In & McKinsey, Women in the Workplace 2023). And bias shows up in subtle ways—like assumptions based on dress, age, or gender—that chip away at credibility and advancement. 📉 Bias isn’t just “in people’s heads.” It shapes careers: women are less likely to be seen as leaders even when they outperform men in most leadership competencies (Zenger & Folkman, 2019). 🧑🏽‍💼✨ 💡 Challenge workplace bias: ✔️ Check your assumptions before speaking ✔️ Call out bias when you see it ✔️ Amplify women’s voices in the room Because no one should have to fight to prove they belong. 💪🏽💼 #womenrising #genderinequality #genderbias #gendergap #linkedin
