I’ve seen tons of questions about creating super simple routines for days when you’re short on time, so I wanted to start by sharing how I would approach the most basic possible 3-step routine: 1. Scalp / hair concern focused shampoo 2. In shower conditioning product- conditioner or hair mask 3. Post-Wash multi benefit spray with heat protection As a starting point, I suggest trying a conditioner + a light liquidy leave in for fine/thin hair, and a mask + a thicker or creamier leave in for coarse / thick hair. But as always, you can use whatever you like best for your hair! There are a lot of factors that contribute to overall results with a product formula, so don’t let this scare you away from trying something I didn’t necessarily recommend for your hair type. If you have fine/thin hair and want to use a hair mask instead of a conditioner in this routine, or coarse/thick hair and want to use a conditioner, check out my product comparison series for recs. For anyone in Europe wanting to try the Abbey Yung method here are some products that are very similar that you can get here 🥰 the comparison is based off of ingredient lists vs what is available in Europe 💕 I also forgot to include the treatment which is the @lorealparis bond repair treatment For reference I have never tried the actual full Abbey Yung method, so I can’t vouch for it, and the products I am showing here are products, for the most part, I have used on an individual basis but not as one full routine, so I will be testing the full routine together over the next few weeks (using the dove shampoo and conditioner as I’ve previously tried and tested the L’Oréal already) so stay tuned for results 💕 #howtorepairdamagedhair #abbeyyungmethod original video is by “lucytrigwell” on TT x
