❗️Visionner avec le son ▪️« Ins[temps]tané | 13.11.24 », 100cm x 100cm, peinture à l’huile sur toile de lin. ▪️Peinte dans l’énergie de « Here to There », bande originale du film « La leçon de piano », composée par Michael Nyman. ▪️Les œuvres “Ins[temps]tané” cherchent à capter la trace intime du geste humain et, à travers elle, la mémoire d’un infime instant de vie. Mon processus de création s’est mis en place progressivement, au fil des années de pratique. Un long temps méditatif, associé à l’écoute de la musique, me permet d’atteindre un état de conscience modifiée, dans lequel la peinture à l’huile est apposée d’un seul geste, sur la toile carrée à fond blanc, qui peut rappeler les préceptes de la calligraphie asiatique. ——— ▪️Je suis une artiste française née à Montauban en 1978. Living a life of curiosity 🎶 Loving the lyrics of this song by @islacollective My favorite time spent in my studio is when I can experiment and explore without any expectation of a predicted outcome. I used to be so afraid of wasting paper or supplies, making something that wasn’t pretty, or feeling like I was wasting my time. I’m not sure when that shift in mindset came, but I’m so glad it did. It’s allowed me to discover so much and to experience I kind of growth that goes so far beyond my art making. Being able to be fully immersed in my process of discovery has led me to a place of child like wonder where I absorb every aspect of learning and it has transferred into my life in so many meaningful ways. I approach every day like it’s an opportunity to grow and I see beauty everywhere ~ in the smallest details and on the grandest scale. I hope some small percentage of my curiosity and exploration inspires you, and that you experience joy when you see my art. As always, I want to thank you for being part of my journey and being a source of inspiration along the way.
