Here it is ⬇️ 🫂 Sharing is caring: Share this with your actor friends! This has been battle-tested dozens of times and works 🙌 For direct outreach about a specific project that they are CURRENTLY CASTING, use: “YOUR NAME (or specific skill/occupation) for YOUR PROJECT” Examples: John Smith for Law & Order Real FBI Agent / Actor for Law & Order Here’s why this works: 1️⃣ Respect for the relationship You should only use this if you’re genuinely right for what they’re casting right now or you already have a relationship. This isn’t spray-and-pray. Precision = professionalism. 2️⃣ Authenticity advantage Real-world skills or lived experience inside the world of the show lowers risk. Authenticity reads as safe. Casting loves safe. 3️⃣ High signal, no noise Casting scans fast. Specific = valuable. Vague = delete. This subject line answers “Why should I open this?” instantly. 4️⃣ Instant relevance You’re not asking casting to figure you out. You’re telling them exactly: • who you are • where you fit • why this email exists Bottom line: Casting doesn’t open emails out of curiosity. They open emails that make the decision easy.

📣 Share this. Every actor must do this. 🔥 Hit FOLLOW for PROVEN strategies that help you become part of the 2% of actors who get called in and book. A correct Actors Access link looks like this: 👉 resumes.actorsaccess.com/yourname Example: resumes.actorsaccess.com/shannonhamm That’s it. If your link is a random string of numbers and letters, you’re creating friction for no reason. And friction kills careers. If someone needs to: • check you out quickly • search you • forward your profile • paste your link Your URL should be obvious, readable, and searchable. If you don’t have a custom vanity link, you’re already behind. Not optional. Not advanced. Just basic competence. Set it up (20 seconds): 1. Log into Actors Access 2. Go to My Tools 3. Click Custom Link 4. Change the URL to your name 5. Save Done. 🔥 This tiny formatting fix instantly separates you from 98% of actors who still look sloppy online. Here’s why it matters: 1️⃣ Ease = access. Casting and reps move fast. If your link looks like a WiFi password, you’re harder to check out and easier to skip. 2️⃣ Formatting signals professionalism. Every detail answers one question: “Can I trust this person?” A clean, branded link says yes. 3️⃣ Your name is the brand. If your materials aren’t intentional, the industry assumes you aren’t either. Most actors ignore this because it’s “small.” That’s why they lose. Small fixes compound. Winners remove friction, reduce risk, and make themselves easier to buy. Do this now. It takes 20 seconds.

Comment “proof” for my video breakdown 1. You’re Not Submitting Enough You cannot book roles you are not in the running for. Low volume equals low probability. Submit for smaller jobs no ego. 2. Your Materials Create Doubt Your headshot, reel, or resume doesn’t tell the same the story. You need a proof eco system. If casting isn’t clear on how you fit in they move on. 3. You Don’t Have a Clear Role Lane Archetype If you look like you could play “anything,” you book nothing. Having a type cast beats range until your a top 1% actor. 4. Your Self Tapes Suck Too many takes. Too much emotion. Too much trying. It screams at casting. Controlled and simple usually wins, learning to detach from the process keeps you from burning out. 5. You’re Burning Out If every audition feels like life or death and you don’t have any money cause you’re a starving artist, your work gets tight. Starving artist actors are scary to cast. 6. You’re Waiting for something Waiting for an agent. Waiting for a bigger credit. Waiting to feel ready. Momentum comes from motion. Push forward and grab your dreams. Surpass your limits. 7. You’re Inconsistent You go hard for two weeks, then disappear for two months when you don’t get a dopamine hit. Careers compound and grow slowly and steadily. Every big break was a slow build. 8. You’re Hard to Place Casting cannot quickly imagine you in a role. They are not hiring potential. They are hiring fit. You have to know your role lane acrhetype. In early to mid career acting getting typecasted is good. 9. You’re Focusing Only on Craft Acting is art and business. If you ignore positioning, business models, and relationships, talent alone won’t carry you. 10. You’re Taking It Personally Rejection feels personal. It rarely is. If you internalize every no, your confidence erodes. So learn to love No cause it means you’re getting closer to a Yes. 11. You Haven’t Stayed in Long Enough Most actors quit right before the compounding starts. Ten to fifteen years of consistent effort is common, not rare. I’m guilty of this my self I have taken my foot off the gas pedal a few times it’s one of the biggest regrets in my career. #acting

It’s not random. It’s not about who’s “most talented.” And it’s definitely not charity. Agents sign actors who make business sense. Here’s what that actually means: 1. Clear casting equals clear income. If an agent can’t instantly answer “What roles can this actor get called in for?” you’re a risk. Specific actors are easier to sell. Clarity lowers friction. Lower friction increases submissions. Submissions create opportunities. Opportunities make money. 2. Proof of demand. Are you working? Creating your own projects? Getting auditions? Do casting directors already know your name? Agents usually don’t want to build momentum from zero. They want to amplify momentum that already exists. 3. Materials that sell. Headshots that communicate casting immediately. A reel that shows you operating at the level you’re targeting. Credits that reinforce viability. If your materials confuse the market, the agent inherits that problem. 4. Market fit. Do you fill a gap on their books? If they already have three actors in your exact lane, you’re internal competition. If you solve a gap, you become useful. Useful gets signed. 5. Professional signals. Prepared. Responsive. Strategic. Easy to work with. Agents and casting talk. Reputation compounds quickly. 6. Long-term upside. Can they see a 3–5 year trajectory? Series regular potential. Strong supporting roles. A clear ascent. Agents invest time. They want to see a return on that investment. Actors think signing is about being good enough. It’s not. It’s about being clear. Useful. Market-ready. Already in motion. Stop asking “Am I talented enough?” Start asking “Am I commercially obvious?” I’m taking on 15 actors this week for agent coaching. Comment or DM me the word “MANGO” and I’ll send you more details in your DMs. #actingtips #actingcoach #actorsofinstagram

At some point, you are going to take time away, even from acting. If you have a profile on Casting Networks, you can “book out” or block out the dates you aren’t available so your agent is accidentally submitting you for projects you aren’t to work. #actorslife #bookout #castingnetworks
