Ok so what is an empath ??
An empath is basically someone who doesn’t just notice other people’s emotions, you literally feel them in your body. like you walk into a room and suddenly your chest is tight or you feel sad out of nowhere and you’re like ??? i was fine two seconds ago. that’s not anxiety. that’s you picking up on someone else’s energy. you’re essentially a walking emotional antenna.
some signs you might relate to: crowds drain you fast, you can tell when someone’s off even when they say they’re fine, you attract people who dump their problems on you, animals and kids are weirdly drawn to you, and you’ve probably been called “too sensitive” your whole life. sound familiar?
😱SO WHAT IS THE ACTUAL POINT OF HAVING IT ?? 😱
your soul mission as an empath is NOT to be everyone’s emotional sponge. that’s the trauma response, not the gift. the real mission is learning how to feel everything without losing yourself in it. once you figure out your own boundaries **where your energy ends and someone else’s begins **
you’re here to help people feel understood in a way that words alone can’t do. to be proof that being soft in a hard world isn’t weakness, it’s a flex. empaths who’ve learned to protect their energy and use their sensitivity on purpose? they become the healers, the creators, the people who shift the entire vibe of a room just by being in it.
