Believe it or not, they live in America! The only place in the world where you can find both crocodiles and alligators is in South Florida. The Everglades national park region is home to both animals and a great place to see them. To distinguish the two, alligators have a more U-shaped snout while crocodiles have a more pointed or V-shaped one. Male crocodiles are larger than females and can reach about 20 feet in length but rarely exceed 14 feet in the wild. The largest American crocodile ever recorded in the wild is “Croczilla”, a 14-foot-long crocodile spotted in the Florida Everglades, but there might be a bigger one! Keep your eye out for them if you ever go down there. They will definitely have their eye on you!🐊 • • • #alligator #crocodile #everglades #florida

In canal-front neighborhoods across Southwest Florida, most close-range encounters between people and alligators don’t begin with the person. They begin with a pet. Alligator attacks on adult humans in Florida are rare in any given year. Incidents involving pets are far more common, and they change the geometry of the encounter. A dog entering canal water creates movement at the surface, draws the animal’s attention, and establishes a fixed point at the edge where entry and exit occur. When the dog struggles to get out, the human response is immediate and predictable. The owner closes distance to retrieve the pet. In that moment, the human moves into a strike envelope they would not have entered on their own. This matters in canal-front residential layouts that define large parts of Naples, Marco Island, and Cape Coral. Hundreds of miles of connected canals place backyards directly against active wildlife corridors. Seawalls create a clean vertical edge. Grass and decking sit inches above the waterline. The same features that make the waterfront usable also concentrate entry and exit at the same narrow band of space where alligators patrol. The canal is treated as scenery until something enters it. The response pulls the human to the edge. What gets misread is not the presence of the animal but the sequence. Residents think in terms of avoidance, and that logic holds until a pet is involved. The decision isn’t made at the start of the encounter. It’s made after the pet is already in the water, when timing compresses and distance disappears. The animal does not need to change behavior. The human does. Most of these encounters end without injury. Alligators are energy-conserving ambush predators and often break off. But the structure of canal-front property produces repeat conditions where pets enter the water and owners follow. The pattern is not random and it is not primarily behavioral. It is a function of how these neighborhoods are built and how people respond when a pet is part of the equation. The dog isn’t incidental. It’s the trigger. #naplesflorida #alligators #capecoral #floridadogs #floridawildlife

Do you think Alligators can be trained or tamed? The difference between those two words is very important when it comes to Gators. Trained would be asking if an Alligator can memorize patterns & performed behaviors based on that memory & positive reinforcement. Tamed would mean the alligator loves me & I can cuddle it without getting attacked. #alligator #alligators #gators #gators #reptile

Naples Florida driveway encounter with a massive alligator caught on security camera. This is real Southwest Florida life where wildlife moves through suburban neighborhoods without warning. Collier County residents know that canals, lakes, and retention ponds mean alligators can show up anywhere, even during a normal family moment. Florida living comes with palm trees, sunshine, and unexpected wildlife encounters right outside your home. 🐊🌴 #NaplesFlorida #NaplesFL #SouthwestFlorida #CollierCounty #FloridaAlligator

A giant alligator caused a significant traffic standstill on Highland Road near LSU, blocking both lanes for about 40 minutes. Witnesses were stunned as bystanders laughed and filmed the unusual sight, while law enforcement attempted to coax the reptile away. Eventually, the gator made its way back to the water, leaving everyone relieved. A lot of people keep asking how I make these. Comment "info" and I'll send you the exact site and prompts I used (also in my bio!) 🧑🏽‍💻 follow @batonrougenews for more #batonrouge #louisiana #breakingnews #viralvideo #onlyinlouisiana #alligators

Thanks for 100k views 💥♥️.. Anthropomorphic reptilian races or beings commonly appear in fantasy and science fiction. They can be based on various reptiles, like lizards, crocodiles, alligators, snakes, dinosaurs, and the fictional dragons. They are often depicted as powerful warriors, though their relative intelligence to humans varies—as with other anthropomorphic races, a greater resemblance to humans often denotes more "civilized" behavior. Some anthropomorphic reptilians such as lizards and snakes are often associated with jungles, swamps, and other tropical biomes, and as such are seen with cultural elements of similar regions, including Mesoamerican cultures.Examples of reptilian races in fantasy games are the Lizardmen from Warhammer as well as Lizardfolk, Dragonborn and Kobolds of the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing game. The Dragonborn in particular—based on the Draconians of Dragonlance, which in that game were uniformly evil—were originally introduced in the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 supplement book Races of the Dragon, published by Wizards of the Coast in 2006.[8][9][10] In 4th Edition, dragonborn are available as one of the core player character races in the Player's Handbook.[11][12] The dragonborn were introduced to the core rules in an attempt to reflect contemporary trends in fantasy fiction and appeal to newer players.[13][14] In addition, it reflected a perception among the game's designers that it should be possible to play dragon-like creatures in a game with "Dragons" in the title.[13][15] Richard Baker, who helped design 4th Edition, noted that the introduction of dragonborn to the core rules allowed them to "grow the D&D world by allowing the mix of characters to evolve in the new edition."[15] Jonathan Bolding of The Escapist noted that the inclusion of the dragonborn in the 5th edition Player's Handbook does "push the 'traditional D&D' mold a bit, but this is a greatest hits of D&D player races and powers from the last fifteen years of the game. #epsteinfiles #breakingnews #foryoupage #reptile

Florida's got a reptile royalty 1.3 million American alligators rule the state's wetlands, lakes, and canals, playing a vital role in the ecosystem by creating habitats for other wildlife as 'ecosystem engineers'. While rare, attacks can happen, so keep your distance, especially near water, and never feed them.

No eating George Big Mac 😂. Also some great educational content about how alligators typically hunt and attack!! Do you guys enjoy the educational content? ~~~Our rescue gators are wild caught nuisance gators that would’ve otherwise been destroyed. The state of Florida destroys 8,000 “nuisance” gators annually, but we don’t have a nuisance gators problem but rather a nuisance HUMAN problem. 1k people a day move to FL, unsustainably developing the land, and a lot of ignorant people making a nuisance out of themselves. NEVER feed a wild gator, never have kids or pets near the water, and never swim in gator habitat! And of course, never attempt anything you see in my videos! Remember guys, we support our sanctuary through social media, so if you’d like to help the animals (for free), please like, leave a positive comment, and share!! We greatly appreciate it and so do the animals! If you would like to donate to the care of the sanctuary animals, we greatly appreciate any support!! You can make a tax deductible donations directly through our website bellowingacres.org @bellowingacres #Animal #Gator #Alligator #scicomm CG
