include these 3 types of curls in your arm workout to build thicc biceps. All rightt, bear with me here, boutta drop some knowledge: The first exercise is an incline curl, which is an example of a curl done in shoulder extension. This places the biceps in a pre-stretched position and emphasizes the long head. The second exercise is a single arm preacher curl, an example of a curl in shoulder flexion. This greatly isolates the biceps, taking the anterior delt out of the equation. It also biases the short head. The third exercise is an alternating hammer curl. This is an example of a curl that trains the brachioradialis, one of the main forearm muscles and elbow flexors. There are many other exercises that fall under these types of curls, but these are my personal favorites 👍 #fitness #fitnessmotivation #fitnesstips #physique

My arms never grew for years… until I trained them like THIS. 2 reasons they won’t grow 1️⃣ Ego curls, zero tension Swinging the weight = momentum stealing all the stimulus. If the dumbbell’s moving faster than gravity, your biceps aren’t working—your lower back is. ⸻ 2️⃣ Running on empty Low carbs = low muscle glycogen. A depleted muscle can’t contract as forcefully or recover as fast. You’re basically trying to build with no building blocks. 2 reasons they will grow 3️⃣ Cell-volumizing fuel Bump your daily carbs + 5 g creatine. Glycogen + creatine pull water into the muscle, stretching the cell and flipping on hypertrophy signals. Fuller pump → better sessions → bigger arms. ⸻ 4️⃣ Laser-focused MMC Slow eccentric, full stretch, pinky-to-shoulder squeeze. Treat every rep like a pose, not a swing. If your arms aren’t growing, try changing up your workout with these exercises featuring @c4energy - Instead of standing alternating dumbbell curls, try doing incline curls to emphasize more stretch in the lengthened position. - Instead of standing cable tricep pushdown, try bent over cable French press to get a better stretch, more ROM, and use heavier weight. - Instead of facing the machine during standing cable curl, try facing AWAY from the cable to get more tension in the lengthened portion of the rep. - Instead of a typical barbell skull crusher, try French press by allowing the weight to go completely behind your head to allow for better stretch in the long head of the tricep, plus more ROM and you can go much heavier without the risk of dropping it on your head. - The stretch is important because you get the most stimulus when tension is applied to the lengthened portion of the movement. - Let me know what you think of these exercise variations! - #c4partner
