These are in order from the start to current point in my art journey & I think this is a really great way to do it!
Marc brunets course is a bit more beginner friendly helping you explore and learn the fundamentals 🤌🏼
Schoolism took up the most of my studies since there is sooooo much content and different artists to learn from, I felt like Airi Pans course helped the most 😁
Ctrl+Paint is also more fundamental focused but it helped me with some gaps that weren’t really covered in previous courses (like material rendering) 💙
Drawabox starts out verrry basic so you can probably start this along side Marc brunets course but it will end up a lot more challenging 😁
Underpaint academy I would say is for more experienced artists (there are fundamental courses and such as well) the artists running the courses are actively in the industry and can give you good insight into whatever path you’re wanting to go in! 🤩
Lea Pintos course on underpaint academy helped so much!! The environment in the discord server is so friendly & helpful, Lea is also very active in it & can answer any questions you have! The course itself helped me push my art beyond where it was 🙏🙇🙇

FIThings that matter more than art skills in creative careers:
❤️Reliability - Can people count on you? Do you deliver what you said you would? Your art gets you noticed, but reliability gets you rehired.
❤️Communication - Can you explain your ideas clearly? Can you ask smart questions before you start? Can you handle feedback without throwing a table? Half of creative work is translating thoughts into something other humans understand.
❤️Meeting deadlines - Deadlines are not suggestions. They affect launches, budgets, ad buys, other departments, actual humans. Being “creative” is not an excuse being late. Professionals ship.
❤️Not being weird in emails - This one sounds silly. I promise, it is not. Be polite. Be clear. Answer the question. Communication is crucial on a team
❤️Taking feedback (without combusting) - You don’t have to agree with every note and you CAN push back (within reason), but you do have to stay professional. Being easy to work with is crucial for hireability.
❤️ Organization - Name your files properly. Track versions. Send the correct exports. It’s helps everything run smoother.
❤️Following brand guidelines - Your “style” matters less than your ability to execute someone else’s, especially in studio, agency, and in-house roles.
❤️Being pleasant to work with - No one wants to spend 40+ hours a week in tension. You don’t have to be best buddies with everyone, but it pays to be kind

Last Saturday was the final week of our Intensive Short Course : Fundamentals of Visual Art. Time really flies when you do the things your heart love.

🗓️Starting April 14th – May 7th, 2025, Tuesdays & Thursdays, Cycle I [Charcoal & Acrylics] will be held twice a week for 4-weeks. Students have the choice to attend either the morning or evening sessions.
🕙Morning Session: 10AM - 1PM
🕕Evening Session: 6PM - 9PM
Price: $415 per month - 4 weeks/ two sessions per week/ 8 classes in total.
