Smelly’s Kitchen Amplifying Your Protein. I taught ya’ll about amplified walking via weighted vests, pushing the tank, pulling a sled, walking with weights, sandbags, kettlebells or dumbbells. Now it’s time I teach you about amplifying or probably more accurately said, augmenting your meals with protein. OK, let’s do some smelly math . I have 2 pounds of 93 seven lean ground beef along with 99% lean turkey . For the 3 pounds of meat this gives me 280 g of protein and 70 g of fat. I added bone broth, collagen, egg whites and beans which adds a total of an extra 100 ish grams of protein. That puts us at 380’grams of protein with about 70 ish grams ot fat….This by Smelly math is making the meal 95-96% lean and that’s not even counting the rice and veg which add volume but no extra fat. I’ve been doing this kind of thing for decades. I even used to do this at Starbucks with the egg white turkey bacon sandwich. I would get one of those and I would also shake up a protein shake with the iced coffee. I also shown you guys in the past. Remember, we’re not really trying to add protein to extra calories . But it is a worthy cause to augment your meals and try to eat leaner protein without jacking the calories up too high from carbohydrates or fat.
