RIDo we really need a pH balancer for lash lifting? 🤔
The market is flooded with products right now🤪, and let’s be honest—half of them are either unnecessary or used completely wrong❌
Take pH balancers, for example👉🏻Their job is to bring the lash back to its natural pH (around 4-5) and neutralize the first solution. I often see artists applying it right after Step 1... 🫠 That’s a clear sign of missing the basic chemistry.
Here’s the truth: A pH balancer isn’t mandatory because Step 2 (the neutralizer) is already designed to stop the reaction of Step 1 and restore the lash’s pH.
I rarely reach for it. If I do, it’s only at the very end of the procedure, applying it just to the tips for 1-2 minutes after Step 2.

CO🧠 When you should NOT use a load balancer:
❌ 1. You don’t even have traffic
If your app has:
* few users
* low requests
👉 Load balancer = unnecessary complexity
❌ 2. Your bottleneck is NOT traffic
If your app is slow because of:
* bad queries
* heavy frontend
* slow APIs
👉 Load balancer won’t fix anything 💀
❌ 3. You only have 1 server
Load balancer needs multiple servers
👉 1 server + load balancer = useless setup
❌ 4. You haven’t optimized your app yet
Before scaling horizontally:
👉 Fix:
* caching
* DB queries
* API performance
Otherwise you just scale a bad system 😬
❌ 5. Real-time / state-heavy apps (careful here)
If your app depends on:
* sessions in memory
* WebSockets
👉 Load balancing becomes tricky�(needs sticky sessions or shared state)
❌ 6. Cost matters
Load balancer = extra infra cost
👉 For small apps → not worth
