This is a protected area, and it gets busy fast. 🚫 There are very limited services at the beach, so bring your own water, snacks, sunscreen, and essentials. 📸 Morning light here is absolute magic. 🍄 Don’t miss El Hongo, Balandra’s iconic mushroom-shaped rock. ✦ How to get there: 🚗 From La Paz: around 25–30 minutes by car. 🛣️ From Cabo San Lucas: about 2.5 to 3 hours by car, depending on traffic and your exact starting point. ⏰ Official hours: generally 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily, with extended seasonal hours during Easter, summer, and December. 🎟️ Entry fee: $125 MXN. 💾 Save this reel so you don’t lose it when you plan your Baja trip🤍 📍 Balandra Beach, La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico 💫 Want more places like this? Desde #LaPaz tomen la carretera rumbo a Pichilingue y 5 minutos antes de llegar a la entrada de playa Balandra encontrarán una desviación de terracería y una reja donde se lee “propiedad privada”. Ignórenlo. Dejen su auto ahí, deténganse a admirar el desierto infinito y prosigan a pie. Casi de inmediato podrán ver unos manglares y una playa con aguas de azules bellísimos. Continúen por el sendero pedregoso y los llevará -después de unos 30 minutos de caminata en subida- hasta el mirador. Desde aquí podrán admirar toda la Bahía, sus playas y el Mar de Cortez. Es un sueño de belleza inexplicable. Sigan explorando, el lugar a pesar de ser muy solitario es muy seguro. Eso sí lleven botita de batalla (@decathlon_mx). Desde lo alto se darán cuenta que existen diferentes senderos, sin embargo para tomarlos tendrán que volver atrás por el mismo camino. Para regresar a La Paz, nos trepamos al Playa Bus… tuve que enseñarle la pierna para hacerle la parada #EarthDay #DíaDeLaTierra #visitméxico #axmbajaroadtrip @lapazbcsmexico #shotoniphone #instagramreels
