BAGOING TO BALLET SCHOOL IS A DREAM 🥹😅
But there’s some truths we should know.
You’re going to have to find a way to work harder than you’ve ever been introduced to in your life.
Not motivated. Not inspired. Consistent.
Nobody is going to give you help on a platter.
You earn the respect of legendary teachers through your work ethic — every single day.
Looking after your body will become survival, not self-care.
Food. Sleep. Recovery. Non-negotiable.
People will come and go.
You will feel lonely at times.
And still — you are strong enough and destined to be here.
There will be many days you are not “perfect.”
Let go of that right now.
Perfection is a moving target you’ll never arrive at. Focus on not making the same mistake twice.
Injuries will happen.
It is okay to tell your teacher you’re in pain.
Hiding it only delays the inevitable.
And Sundays?
They will save you.
Protect them.
