To each their own, but freedom for me lies in personal relationship with the Lord. I was baptized as a child which I had no say in. Nor did I understand the symbolism behind baptism. I no longer agree with child baptisms. My adult baptism followed by a REPENTANT heart, and my verbal declaration of the gospel out of an adult mouth is what saved me. For reference, Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity. All Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholic. I’m currently non-denominational. My religion is Jesus.
