Sit It sounds obvious, but a solid sit is one of the most useful commands. Sit to greet visitors calmly Sit while waiting in queues Sit before crossing roads Sit as impulse control before food, games, or doorways ✅ 2. Down Everything above applies to “down” too — but it’s even more useful for relaxing. Use it at coffee shops, pub gardens, or parks Helps your dog switch off and chill Builds calmness and stillness ✅ 3. Place / Bed A command to send your dog to their bed or mat.
