Last week, I had the opportunity to join Dr. Ruben Abati, Ayo, and Rufai on Arise News’ "The Morning Show" to talk about the state of b women's leadership in Nigeria and the launch of HerCademy Leadership Institute; a flagship initiative powered by TOS Foundation Africa @tosfoundationng in partnership with the Switzerland Embassy @swissembassyabuja in Nigeria. As we celebrate Women’s History Month and continue to reflect on the remarkable contributions of women past and present, our conversation focused on the power of structured mentoring and how it provides access to the right knowledge, the right networks, and the steady guidance that helps capable women move from simply having the desire to serve, to being truly ready to lead. HerCademy is designed to help close that gap. Through this initiative, TOS Foundation Africa is creating a space where women are not only inspired, but equipped; connected to the tools, confidence, and community they need to run, to compete, and to win. #TOSfoundationAfrica #GivetoGain #womenshistorymonth♀️

I had the honour of serving as MC at a 39th African Union Summit side event focused on advancing women’s economic independence and addressing gender-based violence in Africa. My sincere thanks to the organisers — AUDA-NEPAD, @womenforwomenuk Women for Women International and AWEP — for trusting me to guide such an important conversation. The room was filled with leaders committed to turning dialogue into action. The urgency was clear. The responsibility even clearer. It was also a joy to sign copies of Her Story: Taking Root, Sparking Change for members of the audience who purchased the book. Seeing these stories travel into new hands and new spaces is always deeply meaningful.

This week on The Leading Woman Show titled “What Nigerian Women Want: Gender Inclusion and Opportunity”, we are getting into a conversation that I believe every Nigerian needs to hear. Human capital is one of Nigeria’s greatest assets. And women make up nearly half of our population, 49.43% according to the World Bank. Nearly half. Yet the rooms where decisions are made about this country’s future rarely reflect that reality. I sat down with Hauwa Haliru-Hassan, Amina Oyagbola, and Adebisi Adeyemi to ask a question that I think we have danced around for too long: what do Nigerian women actually want? And more importantly, what will it take for this country to finally deliver it? This episode is not just for women. It is for anyone who believes that a country cannot reach its full potential while sidelining half its intelligence and half its capacity. Watch Episode 5 of The Leading Woman Show and join me in shaping the dialogue: 🔴Saturday | NTA & YouTube - 9:30 AM 🔴Sunday | Channels TV - 7:30 PM • • #TheLeadingWomanShow #WomenInLeadership #HumanCapital #GenderInclusion #AbosedeOgan
