The worst thing you can do to a brunette is make it solid and flat. Hair should never look like a block of color.
Think of a child’s hair there’s always movement, softness, subtle light.
A highlight doesn’t have to mean blonde. It can be the softest brunette ribbon, barely there, but enough to create dimension and life.
That’s what makes the difference.
