Add sliced onion and minced garlic over the top. Pour in the beef broth and tomato-based sauce, making sure the roast is partially covered. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Beef Roast (in one-tray) ๐Ÿ”ฅ Ingredients: - beef topside joint @magnessfarms - potatoes - carrots/red onion (whatever else) - 100g water/milk, 1 large egg, 50g flour (2:1:1) - oil, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, thyme - beef stock, red wine, cornflour 1. Slice your potatoes and veg and get those in to roast at 220 degrees C for 15 mins with oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, garlic 2. Oil, salt & pepper your beef joint then add that on top of your veg and potatoes for 45 mins (you then ideally want to do another 20-40 mins at a lower temperature 150 degrees or so, but I couldnโ€™t be bothered - so I went for another 20 at 220) You want it at about 50 degrees C then cover to increase a little more for medium rare, or 54 then cover - I accidentally went over but we move on!!!! 3. Mix all of your Yorkshire ingredients and add oil to muffin tins and add to the oven for 10 mins 4. Now rest of you beef and take out your veggies and potatoes. Add your Yorkshires to the oven for about 20 mins 5. Add your pan to the hob, with about 100ml wine, 300ml beef stock and reduce by half - then thicken up with 2 tsp cornflour mixed with water 6. Slice up the beef and serve up, ENJOY! #beefroast #roastdinner #onetraybake #fromscratch

Tender, juicy slices of roast beef paired with crispy roasted potatoes and bursting sweet cherry tomatoes. It is a hearty, wholesome meal packed with iron and high-quality protein. ๐Ÿ“ Ingredients: โœฆ 2 lbs (approx. 1kg) Beef Top Sirloin Roast or Rump Roast โœฆ 1.5 lbs Baby Potatoes, halved โœฆ 2 cups Cherry Tomatoes โœฆ 3 tbsp Olive Oil โœฆ 4 cloves Garlic, minced โœฆ 1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped โœฆ 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme leaves โœฆ 1 tsp Dried Oregano โœฆ Salt and Pepper to taste ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions: 1- Preheat your oven to 400 F (200 C). Take the beef out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking to reach room temperature. 2- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper to create a herb paste. 3- Pat the beef dry with paper towels. Rub half of the herb paste all over the beef roast. 4- Place the beef in the center of a large roasting pan or baking sheet. Arrange the halved potatoes around the beef. Toss the potatoes with the remaining herb paste. 5- Roast for 15 minutes at 400 F to sear the outside. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350 F (175 C). 6- Continue roasting for about 35-45 minutes. (Use a meat thermometer: 135 F for medium-rare, 145 F for medium). 7- About 15 minutes before the beef is done, scatter the cherry tomatoes onto the pan around the meat and potatoes. 8- Remove the beef from the oven and transfer to a cutting board. Tent loosely with foil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
